Welcome September - NewWorkers
We warmly invite everyone (internationals) living in Struer to join the events organized for internationals throughout September.
**Movie night for internationals** - A movie night for internationals! Registration is free

**Potluck for internationals** - International potluck dinner . Registration is free

Visit to Victor - the new herdsman at Nr. Ullerupgaard
This week, Lise and Alla from our NewWorkers team had the pleasure of visiting Victor, who is employed as a herdsman at Lars at Nr. Ullerupgaard.
Victor, who comes from Ukraine , started in April this year and brings 4 years of experience to the job. After living in Roskilde, he has now chosen to move to Thisted, where we have also helped him find a nice house to rent.
We are incredibly happy that Nr. Ullerupgaard has got Victor on the team, and we look forward to following his continued contribution to the farm and the local community.

Do you have a Ukrainian refugee employed that you are really happy about?
There are a lot of Ukrainian refugees who have come to Denmark. They have a residence permit under special law, also called SL1.
Many have found jobs in cleaning - agriculture - production. But the residence permit, unfortunately, is limited until 3/17-2025. And the government has not yet decided what will happen next.
We hope that there will be Nye rules, but as it looks now, there can be no extension.
So if you have employees now that you are really happy about, then it is a good idea to apply for a work and residence permit right now
