A new story begins!
We have received a fantastic update from Natasha, who after 18 exciting months as an agricultural intern in Denmark, is now back with her family in Zambia.
Natasha is already well underway in using the many experiences and knowledge she brought home with her. She is back in school and continuing her education, and she tells us how her time in Denmark has given her new perspectives and tools to develop her work.
We are so proud to have been part of Natasha’s journey and to see how she is making a difference back home in Zambia. That is exactly what it is all about – sharing knowledge, creating relationships and inspiring development!

From dream to reality: a work visa at a factory in Denmark thanks to NewWorkers🥰
Meet Oleksii, who visited us, NewWorkers, to personally thank for the prompt assistance in opening a work visa at a factory in the city of Lemvig.
Oleksii had been preparing for almost a year to get everything in place and was unsure which company to choose for his application. One day, his friend recommended him to contact us at NewWorkers.
🔹 On September 24, 2024, Oleksii contacted us.
🔹 On October 4, 2024, we contacted Oleksii's employer, explained the rules and made a plan for how he could get a residence permit.
🔹 On October 24, 2024, the visa application was sent.
🔹 On November 12, 2024, Oleksii received his first work visa to Denmark for the next 5 years!
Now Oleksii has also recommended us to a friend who is also applying for a work visa. His case is under review as each application is assessed individually.

This young man is Saloum - he comes from Tanzania.
He came to Denmark last week. And just got to see the snow
He had never seen that before!
Now Saloum is doing an internship. He will be with Pia on a pig farm in the Skive area.

An exciting journey ends, and a new begins!
Today we had a visit from Natasha from Zambia at the office, where she came by and said goodbye before she returns home to Zambia after 18 eventful months in Denmark.
Natasha has worked as an agricultural intern with one of our customers, and she has gained so much from the experience - both professionally and personally.
She has gotten to know new people, gained insight into a different culture and created lifelong memories.
As a small parting gift from NewWorkers, Natasha received a figure of the Royal Life Guard with Dannebrog, so she can always think back on her time here in Denmark.
We wish Natasha all the best and good luck in the future!

Visit to Victor - the new herdsman at Nr. Ullerupgaard
This week, Lise and Alla from our NewWorkers team had the pleasure of visiting Victor, who is employed as a herdsman at Lars at Nr. Ullerupgaard.
Victor, who comes from Ukraine , started in April this year and brings 4 years of experience to the job. After living in Roskilde, he has now chosen to move to Thisted, where we have also helped him find a nice house to rent.
We are incredibly happy that Nr. Ullerupgaard has got Victor on the team, and we look forward to following his continued contribution to the farm and the local community.

Do you have a Ukrainian refugee employed that you are really happy about?
There are a lot of Ukrainian refugees who have come to Denmark. They have a residence permit under special law, also called SL1.
Many have found jobs in cleaning - agriculture - production. But the residence permit, unfortunately, is limited until 3/17-2025. And the government has not yet decided what will happen next.
We hope that there will be Nye rules, but as it looks now, there can be no extension.
So if you have employees now that you are really happy about, then it is a good idea to apply for a work and residence permit right now
