You are a current student of an agricultural educational institution of any zootechnical specialty

INTERNSHIP FIELDS

Interns on dairy farms

The duties of a dairy farm intern include:

-feeding cattle;
-milking (2-3 times a day);
-taking care of calves;
-sometimes help in the field.

Interns on pig farms

The duties of an intern on a pig farm include:

-work in the farrowing room: automatic feeding of sows, observation, insemination of sows, care of piglets up to 7 kg (castration and their vaccination);
-work in the weaning sector (7-30 kg): automatic feeding, general vaccination, cleaning of the premises;
-work in the fattening sector (30-90 kg): automatic feeding, general observation, vaccination, cleaning of the room.

Interns on crop farms

The duties of a crop farm intern include:

-planting and watering seedlings;
-towing the bushes;
-arranging plants on tables;
-harvesting fruits and vegetables;
-packaging of flowers, vegetables, and fruits;
-work with special equipment.

As a rule, it is a house where everyone has their own room and shared kitchen, hall, and bathroom. The average cost is 200-300 euros per month.

Stable working hours

Working time in Denmark is 160 hours per month. Working at weekends and public holidays is paid separately.

A good income

During the first 6 months, you will get 13500 DKK — €1800 per month (before tax). During the last 12 months, the salary is 16000 DKK — €2134.
